THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAIN A DISPUTE RESOLUTION CLAUSE THAT IMPACTS YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE DISPUTES. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site.

- Cleaning Services.
The services will be paid for in full upon the completion of the service.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:
- Credit Card; and
- Debit.
When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

1. Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive to provide the highest quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning appointment. We will re-clean the areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional charge.
2. Cancellation Policy
See Additional Terms below for Cancellation Policy.
3. Refunds
Service Quality: If, after a re-clean, you are still not satisfied, we will issue a refund for the portion of the service that was unsatisfactory. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of the re-clean.
Missed Appointments: If our cleaning team fails to arrive at your home within the scheduled window and does not provide service, you will receive a full refund for the missed appointment.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Services that have been completed to satisfaction but fall outside the 24-hour complaint window.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made after the cleaning team has arrived on site.
5. Payment Disputes
Any disputes regarding payment must be reported within 7 days of the service date. We will work with you to resolve any issues promptly.

7. Amendments
Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service reserves the right to amend this refund policy as necessary. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future services.

- If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning appointment. We will re-clean the areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional charge.
Consumer Protection Law
Where any consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Limitation of Liability
Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Dispute Resolution
Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms and Conditions, if you and Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC agree to submit the issue first before a non-binding mediator and to an arbitrator in the event that mediation fails. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding. Any mediator or arbitrator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC. The costs of any mediation or arbitration will be paid by the unsuccessful party.
Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, you and Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service LLC agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.
Additional Terms
Cancellation Policy
- Basic Cleanings: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning will not incur any charges. If a Basic Clean is cancelled before the cleaner enters your home and is within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning, a Basic Cleaning Cancellation Fee of $50 will be incurred.
Deep Cleanings/Move-In/Move-Out Cleanings: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service will not incur any charges. If a Deep / Move In / Move Out Clean is cancelled before the cleaner enters your home and is within 48 hours of the scheduled cleaning, a Deep / Move In / Move Out Cleaning Cancellation Fee $100 will be incurred.
If you cancel and the cleaner has already entered your home, you will be charged the full cleaning cost. - No Show / Lock Out Policy:
- If the cleaner is not granted access when they arrive in your scheduled cleaning window, they will wait no more than 20 minutes to gain access to your home. The cleaner will reach to the scheduling team to contact you. If we are unable to reach you in the 20 minute time frame, the cleaner will be permitted to leave the property and you will be charged a $100 Lock Out Fee.
- Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service Credit Card Hold Clause
Credit Card Hold Requirement
Upon booking a cleaning service with Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service, we require a valid credit card to be kept on file. No deposit is necessary; however, a credit card hold will be placed for the estimated cost of the service 24 hours before scheduled clean. This hold will ensure your booking and guarantee payment for the scheduled services.
Authorization Hold: A temporary hold equivalent to the estimated service cost will be placed on your credit card 24 hours before your booked cleaning. This is not an actual charge but a pre-authorization to ensure funds are available.
No Immediate Charge: The credit card hold does not result in an immediate charge to your account. The actual payment will be processed after the cleaning service has been completed and you are satisfied with the results.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel the service within the specified cancellation window (24 hours for regular cleanings, deep cleanings or move-in/move-out cleanings), the hold will be released. Cancellations outside of this window may result in a charge as per our cancellation policy.
Payment Processing: After the completion of the service, the hold will be converted into a charge reflecting the actual cost of the services rendered. If the total cost differs from the estimated amount, the final charge will be adjusted accordingly.

By providing your credit card information, you authorize Shine and Dandy Cleaning Service to place a hold and process the payment according to the terms outlined above.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Photography for Quality Assurance and Marketing
To ensure the highest standards of service, Shine & Dandy Cleaning Service may take before-and-after photos of the areas cleaned during your appointment. These photos help us maintain quality control and showcase the results of our work. Please note that any photos used for marketing purposes will not include personal items, identifying features, or anything that could compromise your privacy. Our goal is to highlight the quality of our cleaning services while respecting your personal space.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
